Students create bracelets as a binary representations of the first letter of their name. Students learn that data can be represented and stored in more than one way.
With the wristband activity held within the scope of the coding to the future project, students learned that the data can be represented and stored in more than one way.
Students found the initials of the names from the shapes in which the letters were represented in more than one way, and encoded the shapes that formed the initials of their names into the empty squares of the bracelet
. Then, they learned the wristband they created by wearing it on their arms and living it.
